Garbage, Yard Waste & Recycling

Currently, the city’s sanitation contract is with Waste Management of KY, Inc. The sanitation fee is included as a separate line item on the tax bill. Yard waste, recycling and trash pickup is scheduled for Tuesday of each week. Yard waste consists of grass clippings and leaves.

A recycling bin may be requested by calling the city clerk at 243-7002. If you have a large item to dispose of, you need to contact the City Clerk at (502) 243-7002. The City Clerk will make arrangements with Waste Management.
